Solo Spirit is an incredible adventure, but it is also a science experiment. The Aerobot Science Payload will provide data about the structure and characteristics of the atmosphere and show scientists how to conduct similar studies on other planets. The materials on this page have been created for use by teachers, students, and anyone interested in increasing their understanding of the Solo Spirit adventure. High school students at Mary Institute Country Day School, working with researchers at the Earth and Planetary Sciences Department, Washington University (both in St. Louis, MO) have developed these materials at a level appropriate for Middle and High School students.
